Graceland College Band
The first reference of an organized band for Graceland College was in the 1918 yearbook, Acacia

The previous year, 1917, Joseph Anthony joined the faculty as an instructor of band and orchestra. Although the college had several orchestras previous and as early as 1897-98 Arthur H. Mills was on the faculty as professor of music, but it wasn't recorded if there was an organized band during those years. In 1940, The Graceland College Band had uniforms of blue and gold.
 
Graceland on Tour
Graceland College Concert Band On Tour was the title of the 1963 record album produced in Independence, Missouri, and manufactured by Century Records of Saugus, California. The album of 10 songs contained Fanfare and Alma mater Hymn and was conducted by Richard I. Clothier.

The 1967 album titled Graceland College Concert Band, Orchestra and Brass Choir on Tour, 1967 featured Clothier as orchestra conductor and Tom Ashbaugh as brass choir conductor. It contained 10 songs, including the Graceland one and was mad through the same recording companies.

Graceland College Concert Band and Orchestra On Tour, 1971, produced during Graceland's 75th anniversary, featured Clothier and Ashbaugh as directors. It included seven selections and was made through Cavern Sound Corp. of Independence, Missouri, and Century Records.  Note: Sharon Becker was in the flute section of the concert band.

Graceland College Concert Choir On Tour was the title of three record albums. An album made at the close of the 1963 tour season featured the choir under the direction of Henry Anderson and organ accompaniment by Oliver Houston. A 1971 album under the direction of Henry Anderson featured 10 selections which included a side of Broadway shows was produced through Cavern Sound Corp. of Independence, Missouri, and was manufactured by Century Records. Another album, which does not have a copyright date, contained 10 religious selections under director Henry Anderson with organist Oliver Houston and pianists Evelyn Fry and Kay Johnson.
