A. Curry born 1852 Huntingdon Co., PA - died 27 Sep 1939, Leon, Decatur
Co., IA. Married 10 November 1875 in Leon, Decatur Co., IA to Ellen
Minerva RIDDLE (1854-1881 in Woodland, IA). She was the daughter of
Samuel and Elizabeth (Beavers) Riddle. Their only child to survive
infancy was my grandmother, Mrs. William L. (Cora CURRY) Woods. Arabelia Houseman Hartman Curry was born 23 Jun 1807 in VA, died 18 Apr 1904 in Woodland, Decatur Co., IA, and married 2 Mar 1957 in Paint Twp., Highland Co., Ohio to James Curry, a native of PA. He was a carpenter and farmer. Her children with Nelson Hartman (first husband) are believed to be David G. Hartman. David G. Hartman's son is believed to be James William Hartman. Her children with James Curry are Mrs. Thomas (Mary Ann Curry) Riddle born 1850 and Mrs. Talbot (Martha Ellen "Mattie") Curry born 1862. Her step-son was William A. Curry who also lived in Woodland, Garden Grove and Leon, IA. |
