The gravesite for William Allen is located in a very rural location in Woodville, about 40 miles east of Huntsville, Alabama.  The site is not a cemetery and John's late uncle bought the land in the 1950's and cleared it leaving the trees where the gravesite rests.  He says the site is about a quarter mile off to the right of County Road 317 near the end of the road (approximate coordinates are
34.721495, -86.171587 ).  The original headstone has been damaged by a bush hog (mower) but a local resident had another stone made to mark the grave.  It is possible there are other graves around this one but are only marked with rocks.
