Word was received that Mrs. Philip Moon passed away at eight o’clock on Saturday morning, March 13th, at his{sic} home near Valton, Wis., after a three weeks’ illness. Mr. Moon arrived last evening with her remains.

Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Rowe returned home from Valton, Wis., Monday evening, having been called there by the illness and death of their daughter. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Moon of LaValle, Wis.

Nellie B. Rowe was born in Hesper, Winneshiek county, Iowa, Nov. 2, 1889. Died of pleura pneumonia March 13, 1915, and 25 years, 4 months and 11 days. She was married to Philip S. Moon Nov 2, 1910. They moved to Valton, Wis., where they have since resided. She joined the Friends church at Hesper in early life and after going to Wisconsin united with the Friends church at Valton. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, father and mother, two bothers and two sisters. On Sunday, March 14th, the funeral was held at the Friends church at Valton, and on Monday the remains, accompanied by her husband, father and mother and sister Mrs. Arthur Moon and husband arrived at Hesper, where the funeral was held at the Friends church, Rev. P. Dickinson officiating. The sympathy of the community goes out to the family in their bereavement.
