Word was received here Saturday evening that Phil Roche’s daughter, Elizabeth of Salems{sic}, S. D., was drownee{sic} with fifteen others while boat riding on Lake Madison the 4th of July.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born in 1895 and is buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Salem, SD.
