Mrs. Jim Touchek passed away last Wednesday, April 30. Funeral took place Saturday morning at St. James church. Obituary next week.

OBITUARY
Mrs. James Tuchek died at her home April 30, 1919, after a long illness. She was born two miles north of town in March, 1878. She was united in marriage Sept. 23, 1900, to James Tuchek at St. Wenceslaus church by Rev. Joseph Dostal, living here in Spillville continually until her death.
The funeral took place Saturday morning, May 3rd, at 10 o’clock at St. Wenceslaus church, Rev. J. P. Broz officiating. Those who bore her to her last resting place were: James Koshatka, Joseph Benesh, W. C. Chekal, John Swehla, John Hruska and John Polansky.
Deceased leaves to mourn her departure husband, an aged father, sisters Theresa and Miss Anna Skoda, two brothers Frank and Joseph of Spillville. Her mother died about eleven years ago. The grief stricken relatives have the sympathy of their many friends in their hour of sorrow.
Those who attended the funeral out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. James Sikora, Mrs. Frank Sikora, and Miss Jessie Skoda of Ft. Atkinson

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Marie Tuchek. She was born Mar. 12, 1878 and is buried in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
