HYMENEAL.
Dr. James F. Conover and Miss Matilda E. Meyer were united in marriage by Rev. Guy Rutherford, Saturday evening last, Nov. 28th at the home of the bride’s parents in Calmar. This is an event which the friends of the contracting parties have been certain was to occur on several different occasions only to be disappointed in their prediction, hence it is a matter of much enjoyment to Dr. and Mrs. Conover that their plans were so well guarded that even some of their nearest relatives were not aware of the event until after it had occurred. The union is one that has the approval of a host of acquaintances and friends. Dr. Conover has been Calmar’s dentist for a number of years, being popular personally as well as professionally. His bride is a daughter of Postmaster and Mrs. Jacob Meyer and one of Calmar’s most highly esteemed and best beloved young women. If all the good wishes that are expressed for them come true their married life will surely be a successful and happy one.
