Karen Joan (Phillips) Andrews passed away November 5, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A private burial of Karen's ashes will be held at a later date as to her wishes. Karen was born on July 12, 1941 in Centerville, Iowa to Ernest and Ella Phillips. Karen was a generous and loving lady to all who knew her. She owned and operated Karen's Beauty Salon in Carlisle for 34 years. Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Karen is survived by her husband of 53 years Richard of Carlisle; Daughters Brenda(Richard) Dolski of Minneapolis and Kristi Quijano of West Des Moines and Granddaughter Gina Dolski of St. Paul.
