Elva L. Stacey
(July 1, 1913 - April 25, 2002)

Elva L. Stacey, 88, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Thursday at Good Samaritan Center there. The body was cremated, and no services are planned. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date at Evanston City Cemetery in Evanston, Who.
Mrs. Stacey was born in Evanston and had lived in Indianola for two years. She had been a receptionist for Dr. Ekins Optometry in Evanston and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Evanston and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed playing the organ at her church.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenna Wright of State College, Pa., and Judy Wintermote of Ankeny; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Ankeny Funeral Home in Ankeny is handling arrangements.
