Services for Janice Stanley, 77, of Lacona will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Lacona United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona. Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery. Memorials are requested to Lacona Congregate Meals. Janice passed away February 28, 2012 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Guy; children: Dawn (Jim) North of Overland Park, Kansas, Doug (Kelly) Stanley of Lacona, and Danny (Karen) Stanley of Lacona; grandchildren: Aaron (Sarah) North, April (Chuck) Weber, Bart Stanley, Courtney (Robert) Struthers, Mandy Kimzey, Lindsay Stanley, Brittany Stanley, and Delaney Stanley; great grandson, Maddox Weber; twin sister, Joanne (Dwayne) Manser; her dog, Lucy; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
