Minnie A. Vincent of Ottumwa instructed her two children to watch her, then took poison and died before they could reach her side.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Feb. 10, 1888 and died July 19, 1916. She is buried in the Shaul Cemetery.
