Ramey-Haywood.
Last Wednesday evening occurred one of the prettiest home weddings this vicinity has seen, when Isabelle Haywood and Alpha Ross Ramey were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at the home of the bride's father, who lives a short distance south of this city. The Rev. G. W. Barber, of Bussey, Iowa, a former pastor of the M. E. Church here and beloved by all, solemnized the nuptials.
Only the relatives of the contracting parties were present at the ceremony, but a large number of their friends arrived later to assist in the celebration of the momentous event.
The bride has been a resident of Eldon for a number of years and has been a leader of all social events in the society in which she moves.
The groom is one of the Rock Island's popular employees and a worth citizen, and all are pleased at his winning one of Eldon's fairest daughters. - Eldon Forum.
[Note: year not given but position in scrapbook would suggest 1906]
