Employment: She had a few jobs throughout her life but the one that truly encompassed her creative side was as a florist. Lynn and Darwin owned their own flower shop in Elk Horn, IA for a few years and she enjoyed visiting with customers and being part of the community. She spent many years working at the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn, IA and enjoyed working with the residents.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed cooking and baking, and her deviled eggs and potato salad were a couple of her family’s favorites; she collected Cherished Teddies, Boyd's Bears, and porcelain dolls that she displayed throughout her home; loved decorating the house for the holidays, especially at Christmas. Lynn enjoyed traveling with Darwin to casinos where she would play the penny slots. When relaxing at home, she enjoyed reading Danielle Steel books and watching favorite TV shows including Wheel of Fortune, Mike & Molly, SWAT, and Blue Bloods.
