Employment: Worked at various jobs before being employed by Logan Produce, where he remained for 40 years, retiring in 2003. After retirement, he mowed lawns at the Logan Magnolia Schools for 20 years, retiring from that position in 2024.

Hobbies/Interests: Loved following the various sports in Logan, especially those of his kids and grandchildren, and recently, the great-grandchildren, in their events. For more than 60 years, Gale could be found at the school volunteering on the sidelines of various sports, whether it was being a part of the chain gang or running the clock. Because of his dedication, he was inducted into the Logan Magnolia Hall of Fame with recognition for all he did for the school. He also raised greyhound racing dogs for several years. Was a member of the Logan Volunteer Fire Department for more than 25 years and was a member of the Logan 4th of July fireworks crew for over 50 years.
