Marriage: Bill Pitt; Jan. 22, 1944; at the parsonage for the United Methodist Church, Logan, IA

Employment: After her marriage, Lila helped Bill with the farming and gardening and raised their 8 children. She also worked in Fort Calhoun, IA at an aluminum fabrication plant prior to working at Perfection Form for 17 years. They retired from the farm in 1994 and relocated to Harlan, IA

Hobbies/Interests: Participated with a neighborhood club, as well as volunteered time to numerous church and community activities. She was always putting others first; mostly, she enjoyed the time spent with family and friends
