Employment: Worked as a bank employee as well as in real estate sales with Bud, but most of her life was spent as a farmer’s wife

Hobbies/Interests: Member, Missouri Valley Eastern Star, the United Methodist Church Women, the American Legion Auxiliary (where she was the chaplain), Friends of the Library and the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (where she was president twice), the Red Hat Society, and the Tuesday Club; she always had a large garden; loved the outdoors and all the animals on the farm; she was a Cub Scout den mother, a 4-H leader and was known for grooming the calves tails for the livestock shows; enjoyed golfing, vacationing and spending their winters in Arizona and Florida; loved to cook and bake, particularly baking Christmas cookies with the grandkids; mostly, she cherished time spent with family and loved seeing and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
