Hobbies/Interests: After retirement, he would enjoy morning coffee in town and then every day he would be gone playing cards for the afternoon. When he was younger, he liked playing slow pitch softball, participating in tug-of-war contests, and helping with hog roasts. Later on, he loved attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and activities, even coaching his son’s pee wee team. He participated in bowling leagues and pool leagues for years; also loved attending stock car races and going camping.
