Funeral services for Harvey Wendt, 75, Walcott, will be held at the Lacock Funeral Home, Durant, at 2:30 p.m. today (Sept. 28) with the Rev. John Rosenberger officiating. Burial will be in the Durant cemetery. Pallbearers were David and Michael Wendt and Brad and Gregory Wulf.

Mr. Wendt died at the Davenport Medical center Sept. 25.

The son of John and Caroline Deckert Wendt, he was born at Lester Sept, 26, 1912. He was married to Laurine Frick in Davenport in 1937. The couple farmed in the Plain view area for 30 years.

He was a member of the Walcott Senior Citizens and Golden Wedding in Davenport. He was an avid gardener and card player. Memorials may be made to the senior citizens group.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Karen) Wulf, Walcott; a son, Kenneth, Stockton; 4 grandsons; 2 great-great grandchildren and a sister, Helen Schnack, Bennett.
