NOTICE of DEATH.

Jacob Earle FARIS, son of J. and Anna FARIS, died Saturday, December 15th, aged eight months and eight days.

The burial took place at the south [Rose Hill] cemetery on Sabbath. It was the first and only case of measles hitherto resulting fatally.

NOTE: Jacob's mother Abby Anna (SEEVER) FARIS was born on March 4, 1862 and died on November 26, 1932. James Carl FARIS died on February 6, 1916. They were interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr.
