Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Morgart of Route 1, Melbourne, former Grinnell residents, received the sad news this morning that their son, Pvt. Donald E. Morgart, 20 was killed April 23 somewhere in England in an airplane crash. No details were given, but a letter is to be sent them later.

Donald was inducted into the army March 4, 1943 from Poweshiek county and served as a fire fighter at an airfield in England.

He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. N.J. Morgart and a nephew of Mrs. Earl Foster of this city and is well known in the Newburg and Grinnell vicinities.
