Kimberly R. "Kim" Slone, 49 of Valrico, FL. passed away January 7, 2011 at Brandon Regional Hospital, Brandon, FL. A native of Des Moines, Iowa she had lived in the Brandon area since 1998. She was a project manager for Time Customer Service and active with Hands On Tampa (HOT).

She is survived by her parents Duane and Carolyn Slone of Parrish, FL; brother, Dennis Slone of Lakeland, FL.; sisters, Pam (Tom) Cannon of Spring Hill, FL., Sandra Brehmer of Charleston, South Carolina; four nieces and nephews, Josh (Jen), Dean, Phillip and Emilie; five great-nieces and nephews, Lily, Dallas, Dylan, Cadence and Jeremy.

A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, January 12, 2012, at 10 a.m., at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to any of the following charities which Kim supported: Susan G. Komen, Make a Wish, St. Judes Children's, or the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
