Painting of Rev. Launcelot G. BELL, painted by Miss Flora LAMSON, daughter of Ralph G. LAMSON. This is her first attempt at portrait painting... Painting now at City Library... To be hung in the gallery of the Iowa Historical Building at Des Moines alongside those of other distinguished Fairfield people -- Sen. WILSON, C. W. SLAGLE, and W. W. JUNKIN, representing statecraft, law, journalism and religion.
