Death of Mrs. Wishard
Passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 2, Funeral Saturday Morning

The many friends and acquaintances of Mrs. H.C. Wishard were saddened this week by the news of her death which occurred at Cherokee, Iowa, where she had been taken a couple of weeks ago for treatment after having suffered a nervous breakdown. The remains were brought to Sanborn Wednesday morning and preparations have been made for the funeral service Saturday morning at ten o'clock, it being impossible for relatives in the west to arrive sooner. Rev. Edd H. Sands, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church will have charge of the funeral services, which will be held at the James Pirie home. Interment will be made in Roseland Cemetery.

Edith Marie Pirie was born in Sanborn, Iowa, March 30, 1888, and at the time of her death was in her twenty ninth year. She attended the public schools in Sanborn and up to the time of her marriage lived with her parents here.

On December 1, 1908, the decedent united in marriage with H.C. Wishard, who was a conductor on the Milwaukee. A short time afterwards they moved to Montana, first residing at Butte and for the last a six or seven years at three Forks in that state. To them were born three children: James F., who is now four and a half years of age, Grace, aged one and a half years, and Edith Marie, three months old.

Mrs. Wishard had suffered from nervous trouble. Last fall she made a visit to her parents in Sanborn and a few weeks ago started to return to her home in Three Forks. She was taken ill at Aberdeen, and it was necessary for her to return. Her condition was such that it was advisable to take her to Cherokee for treatment at the hospital there, where her death occurred, as stated above.

Besides her husband and three children, she leaves to mourn her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Pirie of this place; three brothers, Frank and Edwin Pirie of Three Forks, and R.B. Pirie of Lewiston, Montana, all of whom will be present at the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Wishard and daughter, Grace of Morningside are also here.

The deepest sympathy of a large circle of friends is extended to the bereaved relatives whos sorrow is very deep in the death of their loved one who had hardly reached maturity.
