Mrs. Henry Hibbing Is Buried Here-Death Followed Long Illness

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 30 for Mrs. Henry Hibbing, 59, who died at the Hibbing home here about 3 o'clock in the morning, Dec. 27. Services were held at the Zion Lutheran church at 2 p.m. following a short service at the home. Interment took place at Prairie View cemetery, Rev. Martin Peters officiating.

Mrs. Hibbing had been in poor health for a number of years.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Green northwest of Paullina, Anna Green was baptized into the Holy Christian church and later became a member of St John Lutheran church at Germantown. She became the wife of Henry Hibbing on Feb. 25, 1913. The young couple made their home on a farm about six miles southwest of town, where they lived until coming to Paullina last March.

Mrs. Hibbing is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Elsie) Johannsen and Mrs. Elroy (Mildred) Koehlmoos of Gaza; two sons, Alvin and Wilbert of Cleghorn; a brother, John Green, Paullina, and eight grandchildren. Three sons preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fred Grimberg of Hammond, Ind., Alfred Schmeaderki and Fred Neimeyer of Tinley Park, Illinois and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Omer of Ocheyedan were in Paullina to attend the services for Mrs. Hibbing.
