Minnie Anna Hauptly, the daughter of August and Dora (Mundt) Krueger was born January 13, 1896 at Lake Park, Iowa. She attended school at Lake Park and the rural schools of Everly. She worked for various people at Devil's Lake, North Dakota, Spencer and Everly. May 1, 1923 she was married to Frank Jacob Hauptly at Spencer. They farmed north of Wesley and then moved south of Titonka where they farmed for 25 more years. In 1955 they retired and moved into Wesley. In September of 1979 she moved to the Titonka Care Center. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Ida Munster of Hartley and Mrs. Anna Pickinpaugh of Lakewood, Colorado and a brother, Paul Krueger and his wile, Helen, of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, on April 6, 1979; her parents; a sister, Mrs. Madsen and 2 brothers, Harry and Edward Krueger.
