Funeral services for Raymond Stark, 87, Wilton, were held Sept. 14, 1989 at the Lacock Funeral Home in Durant, with the Rev. Joe Lee officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Stark died Sept. 11 at the Wilton Nursing home.

The son of Ernest and Minnie Lamp Stark, he was born March 9, 1902 in Stockton. He married Valeria Paustian Feb. 25, 1928 in Davenport.

Mr. Stark farmed his entire life in the Stockton, Durant and Atalissa area, retiring in 1966 when the couple moved to Wilton.

He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Orlen, West Liberty and Arlo Dean, Davenport; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons and a brother, Walter, Durant. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters.
