Funeral services for Phillip B. Peak, 64, West Liberty, were held June 12 at the Snider Funeral Home in West Liberty with the Rev. Ralph Farmer officiating. Dorothy Mays was organist and pallbearers were Lindley Birkett, Harold Stagg, Ted Thomas, Harold Marley, Harold Kammerer and Darrell Reeves. Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mr. Peak died June 10 at his home following an extended illness.

The son of Harry and Viola Bybee Peak, he was born Aug. 15, 1922 at Paris, Mo. He married Opal Miller Feb. 28, 1942 at Kahoka, Mo. The couple lived in West Liberty and Rodgers, Ark., where he was an electrical superintendent with the Local IBEW union. They returned to West Liberty in January.

Mr. Peak is survived by his wife, 4 sons, Wayne Peak and Allen Peak, both of West Liberty and Harry Peak and David Peak, Muscatine; 6 grandchildren; his parents of West Liberty and 1 sister, Doris Thomas, West Liberty.
