Funeral services for Gladys Kaskadden, 73, West Liberty, were held March 4, 1987 at the Snider Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Thompson officiating. Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery.
Mrs. Kaskadden died March 2 at the Simpson Memorial Home.
The daughter of George and Ruby Schmidt McKillip, she was born Jan. 11, 1914 in Cedar Rapids. She had been a resident of Thousand Oaks, Calif. and owned and operated the Green Lantern restaurant.
Mrs. Kaskadden is survived by one brother, Marvin McKillip, Canoga Park, Calif.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Roy (Georgia) Yeggy, West Liberty; Mrs. Burdette (Pat) Staats, Columbus City and Mrs. Frank (Mary) Yeggy, Newburg, Mo. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
