Funeral services for William Cook, 80, West Liberty, were held July 29 at St. Joseph's Catholic church in West Liberty, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery, Muscatine.

Mr. Cook died July 25 at his home in West Liberty.

He married Mary Jane Connell in 1933 in Muscatine. She died in December, 1985.

Mr. Cook was employed at the Muscatine post office and the Muscatine Journal. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Donald (Kathleen) Pelzer, West Liberty and Mrs. Howard (Agnes) Rockafellow, Odessa, Texas; 9 grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Rice, San Jose, Calif. and a brother, George Cook, Muscatine.
