Philip Holmes of Salem, Mass., has been visiting his brother, Frank Holmes, who lives west of here in the town of Galesburg. He has been there a month with his brother and family. These two brothers had not seen each other for 62 years. They were parted when they were age 12 and 14 years. Their mother died when they were this age and they were separated and taken into the homes of an uncle and an aunt. They well remember the last time they saw each other. It was after their mother's funeral, they were standing by a hitchrack, the uncle took Philip and led him away and they never saw each other again until now. They went through the war in different regiments, were very close together at times but never knew it. Words fail to tell the happiness which they enjoyed together during this months visit.
