Wednesday, January 15, 2025Scott William Caudle, 67, passed away Dec. 23, 2024, at his home in Woodland Park, Colo.
Scott was born March 26, 1957, to Loren and Dona (Doud) Caudle of Winterset.
He graduated from Winterset High School in 1975.
Scott served in the Army from 1975-1979. For the past 40+ years he has lived in or around Deckers, Colo., and most recently worked maintaining water and camp sites up and down the valley, living off the grid until retirement.
He is survived by his brother, Mike (Doreen) Caudle of Winterset; in addition to friends and he considers family, Jeff and Jessica Gard and Terry Lambert of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a military service performed in Colorado at a later date at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
