Catholic Mass for Becky L. Bell, 66, who passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024, will be held 10 a.m., Friday, November 22, 2024 at Church of Assumption, Churchville, IA. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Churchville.
Becky Lucinda Bell (Sudbrock). was born on April 21, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Southeast Warren Schools and graduated from Southeast Warren High School. During her high school years, she met Robert Bell at the Warren County Fair, whom she married after she graduated.
Robert and Becky’s marriage was a happy union that lasted 44 years, until Robert's passing in 2020. She and Robert spent many years farming in Madison County. They had three wonderful daughters, Kimberly, Kelley, and Kerry.
Becky worked for many years for the State of Iowa, until her retirement in 2019. She loved her grandchildren and watching them play sports. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and in her spare time she liked watching game shows on television. She was an avid collector of all things Coca-Cola and attending the Annual Coke Days in Atlantic, IA.
Becky is survived by her three daughters, Kimberly Cross (Jeremy), Kelley Bonnes (Jeff) and Kerry Ellenwood (Kane); seven grandchildren, Brooklyn Cross, Ethan Cross, Kaitlyn Bonnes, Kacy Bonnes, Kamryn Bonnes, Jake Bonnes, Koen Ellenwood and baby girl Ellenwood; two brothers, Jerry Sudbrock and Bill Sudbrock (Sue); two sisters, Ginger Allen (Lester) and Judy Hayden; an adopted brother, Doug Sudbrock; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Gerald and Bettie Sudbrock; sister, Jeanne Reynolds; and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where family will be present to greet friends. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family for a contribution at a later date.
