August 10, 1955 - January 24, 2017

Little Rock, Iowa - David Duin, age 61, of Sibley, Iowa, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Sibley Specialty Care at Sibley, Iowa.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Friday January 27, 2017 at Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock, Iowa, with Rev. Dustin Sperlich, officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Friday January 27th at Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock.

David Duin was born August 10, 1955, at Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Fred and Sylvia (Hinrichs) Duin. David grew up in Little Rock where he attended school. He later made his home at Hope Haven in Rock Valley, IA. He was united in marriage to Donna Harms on December 7, 1984, at Rock Valley, IA. They made their home in Rock Valley. While at Rock Valley he worked at a junk yard and also made hitch pins.

Over the years David and Donna lived in Rock Valley, Sioux Center, Hull and LeMars, IA at The Abby. In his spare time he enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Vikings and the Twins and also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He would spend time doing word finds, puzzles, playing PS4 and watching movies. This past week, David became a resident of Sibley Specialty Care in Sibley where he died this past Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the age of 61.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Donna Duin of Sioux City, IA; siblings, Sandy (Paul) Olson of Sibley, IA; Sherlyn (Wade) Brunk of Round Lake, MN and Floyd (Teresa) Duin of Little Rock, IA.

David was preceded in death by his parents.
