Last Wednesday forenoon, December 27th, Raymond, the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Caparron, of Morning Sun, fell into a tub of hot water and was so badly scalded that he died Thursday noon after twenty four hours of intense suffering. Mrs. Caparoon took the tub of water from the stove and set it on the floor, intending to use it for scrubbing. She had just turned away when the little on tripped and fell into the tub. His entire body was badly burned. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Morning Sun, Friday afternoon at three o'clock. Mrs. Caparoon was formerly Miss Myrtle Gable, of Wapello and the friends of the family extend sympathy to the grief stricken family.
