Word was received here the first of the week of the death of Mr. T. J. Huffman, who passed away early Tuesday morning at this home in Conesville after a lingering illness with heart disease. Mr. Huffman was born on a farm near Wapello March 13th, 1875 and was past 54 years of age at the time of his death. A number of years ago he was united in marriage to Mrs. Cynthia L. (Bedee) Wilson, who preceded him in death just four months ago, March 11, 1911, was buried on his birthday. To this union one daughter was born, who is now Mrs. Edna Snyder, of Conesville. He is also survived by two stepchildren, Mrs. Buryl Foor, of Conesville and George Wilson, of Wapello; one sister, Mrs. Story, of Wapello, besides a number of other relatives and friends. Mr. Huffman resided here for some time until his removal to Conesville a few years ago. The funeral services were held at Conesville yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon and the remains laid to rest beside his wife in the cemetery at that place.
