Letts Record: Mary Reba Barker, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. T. F. Barker, was born at Crawfordsville, Iowa, Aug 27th, 1903 and died at the home of her parents in Letts, Iowa, March 25, 1911, aged 7 years, 6 months and 28days, of scarlet fever and complications. Mary was a bright winsome little lady, a pupil in Miss Van Brussel's primary department of our public schools. Owing to the death cause and the fact that the family were quarantined, the burial was private, the M. E. Ritual service being read by Rev. C. E. Crandall of Oskaloosa, Iowa who happened to be in the city and prayer being offered by Rev. Dr. Hobson of the U. B. church.
