Word was received here Sabbath evening announcing the death of Francis Stockes, a former resident of this place, who departed life Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wesley Hahn, at Cedar Rapids, Neb. Mr. Stocke was a resident of this place for a number of years. His wife preceded him in death Dec. 9, 1906. The remains were brought here for burial. The funeral was held from the Evangelical church Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock
