Ernest Walter, son of L. P. Gillette and wife was born in Wapello, Iowa, June 11, 1907 and died Aug. 30, 1907, aged two months and nineteen days. The little one had never been strong, though it was seemingly as well as usual until a short time before its death. It had some heart trouble from birth and it is thought this was the immediate cause of its sudden death. The funeral services were held at the house Sunday t 2. p. m., conducted by Rev. J. P. Hehner of the Ger. M. E. church, with interment in the Wapello cemetery.
