Page 1Mrs. W. F. Bowser, residing out near Otter Creek, died quite suddenly and unexpectedly yesterday afternoon, Aug. 7, at the Burlington hospital, where she underwent a surgical operation Tuesday. She was thought to be getting along nicely, but a severe hemorrhage caused a sudden collapse from the effect of which she failed to rally. Her husband had returned home but a few hours before the end came. Her death is a great shock to her family and friends. She was a daughter of T. J. Ochiltree and wife, of Morning Sun, to which place the remains were brought last evening. She has been in poor health for two or three years. This was the second operation she had undergone. She was an excellent woman, but twenty-seven years of age, and leaves her husband and one child. It is thought the funeral will be held tomorrow.
