The remains of Mrs. A. B. Winders arrived here Monday morning from Fredrickstown, Mo., at which place she died. The remains were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Williamson, a daughter of the deceased. Mrs. winders left home last November to spend the winter visiting her daughter and other relatives. She was expected home in a few weeks and the sad news of her death came as a surprise to her relatives and many friends.

Mrs. Anna B. Winders was born at Freeport, Ohio, July 29, 1836 and died near Fredrickstown, Mo., March 22, 1907, aged 78 years, 7 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage with David Winders at Freeport, Ohio, April 23, 1846. To this union were born seven children three of whom survive the parents: Mrs. James Martin, of Grandview, Ia., Mrs. Joseph Brown, of Kansas and Mrs. Wilbert Williamson, of Missouri.

Mrs. Winders was one of a family of eleven children, of which two brothers, Jno. Holiday, of Paris, Ky., and Oscar Holiday, of Freeport, Ohio, are still living. In 1848 Mr. and Mrs. Winders came to Grandview where she has since made her home. Many years ago she united with the Methodist faith. The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church at 3 p. m. March 25. Burial at Grandview cemetery.
