Someone asked me for this information. I misplaced the name. I hope the individual will see this:

James H Wooder was born in Caroline Co., MD, June 17, 1834 and died at his home in Hale, Jones Co., IA, April 7, 1915 aged 80 years 9 months and 21 days. When 2 years old he moved with his parents to Guernsey Co., OH, where his father died when James was eleven years old. At the age of thirty years he enlisted in Co. A, 116th Reg., Ohio Inf., where he served 3 years and was honorably discharged, June 14, 1865, at Richmond, VA. While in the service he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. At the battle of Winchester he was captured by the enemy. Besides J W and M E Wooder of Hale, Mrs. Frank Dalby of Lamont, IA, Mrs. Fred Cruise of Olin and Edward C Wooder of Muscatine with the aged widow left to mourn his death are seventeen grandchildren.
