WYOMING - Funeral services for Edward F. Kleineck, 81, were held at the First Presbyterian church in Wyoming, Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery. Masonic services were held at Hayden Funeral home in Wyoming Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. He died at his home Saturday, Jan. 15, 1972.
Edward Kleineck was born Dec. 6, 1890 at Mt. Vernon, the son of John and Tillie Kleineck. He attended Mt. Vernon school and Cedar Rapids Business college. He was married to Lula McDonald Apr. 7, 1915 at Scotch Grove. They spent most of their married life in Jones County. His last 20 years in business were as an automotive and implement dealer in Wyoming.
He was a member of the Wyoming Presbyterian church, where he had served as an elder; a 50 year member of the Onslow Masonic lodge; a member of the Cedar Rapids Consistory and the Cedar Rapids El Kahir Shrine; the Jones County Shriners club; a charter member of the Wyoming Lions club; and active participant in the community affairs of Wyoming.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Lyman (Wyona) Thompson, Wyoming; one grandson; a sister, Mrs. Josie Barrett, Ft. Morgan, Colo.; two brothers, Victor of Onslow, and Robert, Oxford Junction. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter and one brother.
