Robert Eugene Cason, 67, loving father, grandfather, son and brother, died Friday, January 3, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, January 10, 2025 at Lensing Oak Hill Funeral Service, 210 Holiday Rd., Coralville. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11 AM. Burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery in Glasgow, Missouri on Monday, January 13, 2025.

A memorial fund has been established in Robert’s name.

Robert was born May 1, 1957 in Glasgow, Missouri, the son of Lloyd and Dorothy (Lewis) Cason Jr.

Robert was a lifelong carpenter and craftsman. In 2001 he moved to the Iowa City area where he was a cook and health inspector.

He was a member of the Church of God in Christ.

Robert is survived by his three sons and daughter, Derrick Cason, Eric Cason, James Cason, and Tosha Arthur; his grandchildren, Kiana, Erica, Quinton, and Evander; his siblings, Terry Cason, Alan Cason, Curtis Cason, and Cheryl Cason.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, James, Gloria, and Jenny.
