Angela Fachman, 40, of Iowa City, passed away unexpectantly on September 2, 2024 at her residence.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held at a later date in Sioux City.

Angela was born on July 20, 1984 in Sioux City to Eric and Linda (Huitt) Fachman. After graduating from North High School in Sioux City, she attended Buena Vista University in Storm Lake.

Angela enjoyed listening to a wide array of music, singing, dancing, making crafts and was an avid animal lover (especially cats!) Above all, spending time with her family and friends was by far her favorite activity. Her immediate family held an extra place in her heart. Together they shared countless adventures and created lasting memories.

Angela is survived by her mother, Linda Fachman; son, Matthew Urban and sister, Christine Fachman; aunt & uncle, Carrie (Huitt) & Chuck Reuben; cousins: Andrew & Brett Reuben as well as her aunt, Mary (Huitt) North. She was preceded in death by her father, Eric Fachman and her brother, Michael Fachman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any local animal rescue.
