Linda Joan Clevenger was born April 11, 1948, in Muscatine, Iowa. After high school, Linda moved to Iowa City and worked at Breeses’s Napa Auto Parts as an accountant. It is here that she would meet her future husband, Roy Koser. The couple married on August 5, 1967, in Nichols. The couple and their family had resided in Coralville for many years, later in Nichols and after Roy’s death in 2004, she moved to Missouri to be close to grandchildren and great grandchildren as they came along. For many years Linda worked in the eye clinic at the University Hospitals, along with assisting her husband in their business in Muscatine, Koser Implement. Linda enjoyed much in life, while they lived in Coralville, Roy was a volunteer on the fire department, and Linda was one of the “team” for the female waterballers. In Missouri she belonged to a quilting guild as she has been a quilter for most of her life. But nothing was more important to her than her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren!

Her family includes her children, Kris Brack and Ed Koser and his wife, Alta; grandchildren, Tyler and Ashyln Buford, Aaron and Jordon Buford, Jacob and Katelyn Buford, Drayven Koser, Eddie Koser, Tilda Koser, Esther Koser and Lola Koser; great-grandchildren, Kimber, Ridge, Richard Rowan, Ryder and Wyatt; sisters, Becky Bayers and her husband, Dennis and Kathy Clevenger; brother, Russ Grim and his wife, Sharyl; and sister-in-law, Jean Vitosh and her husband, Dick.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; son-in-law, Matt Brack; her parents, brothers, Duane Clevenger and Rick Clevenger and many aunts and uncles.

Linda’s family would like to thank everyone at Schuyler Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri for their sincere and loving compassionate care of their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and dear friend. No words can ever express our gratitude!
