West Descendants

I am trying to locate any living descendants of Frank S. West bn 29 Dec. 1885 and died after 1927. He married Bonnie Smith, Nov 1911 in Jefferson Co., IA. I do not know any of their childrens names if they had any. His parents were Otho West and Elizabeth Keys. Would it be possible to check for West names in current Telephone directories for Fairfield and surrounding area?
