Mrs. HOSETTE, 88, Stockport, Dies

STOCKPORT, Ia. -- Mrs. Mary Julia HOSETTE, 88, a resident of Stockport for 54 years, died suddenly at 4:30 a.m. today at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lester WORKMAN. She had been in failing health for three years.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral home. Arrangements are pending.

Mrs. HOSETTE was born Oct. 25, 1875 (sic - 1874) in Jefferson county, the daughter of John and Julia PALM DROZ. She was married to Louie HOSETTE in 1899. He preceded her in death Aug. 12, 1933.

Mrs. HOSETTE was a member of St. Mary Catholic church in Fairfield. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Bertha STEVENS, Argyle; Verne HOSETTE and Mrs. Louise WORKMAN, Stockport; Bernard HOSETTE, Ellsworth; Rollin HOSETTE, Bronx, N.Y.; and Josephine HOSETTE, Arlington, Va.

Five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive. Two brothers are deceased.

Mrs. HOSETTE Rites Monday

STOCKPORT, Ia. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary HOSETTE, 88, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church in Fairfield.

Mrs. HOSETTE, a long-time resident of Stockport, died Friday. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Francis Henricksen. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8:45 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home.
