OTTUMWA -- Harold A. HORNE, 72, of Tulsa, Okla., died March 9, 1990, at his home.
He was born in Medicine Hat, Canada and moved to Ottumwa as a child.
A former resident of Des Moines, he was employed by Solar Aircraft. In 1958, he moved to Fullerton, Calif., where he was employed by Aerojet and General Dynamics.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; two daughters, Sandra SMITH of Fayetteville, Ark., and Sheila HAYDEN of Upland, Calif.; five granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Mildred M. GLASS of West Des Moines and Thelma PARKER GREEN of Indianola; and two brothers, Cahrles (sic) E. Jr. of Kansas City, Kan., and John E. of Bradbury, Calif.
The body will be cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Fairfield.
Moore Funeral Home in Tulsa, Okla., is in charge of arrangements.

He was born September 11, 1917, to Alfred LOONEY and Ethel A. WEBBER LOONEY; Alfred died in 1918, and Ethel remarried to Charles E. HORNE. Harold was first married to Betty FRY, and later to Frances; Harold and Betty had a daughter Beverly who died as an infant 1940 and is buried in the same lot. Harold also had a son (unsure which wife was his mother at this point) Larry Edward who died as an infant in 1942 and is buried in this lot as well.
