Ina Sargent Dies Today; Rites Monday
Mrs. Charles Wayne (Ina) Sargent, 75, of 319 E. 22nd St. S., a resident of Newton for 7 years, died this morning at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home.
The Rev. Robert Block, pastor of the Community Reformed Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery at Ira.
Friends may call at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
Survivors are a son, Wayne W. Castor of Roy, Utah; a daughter, Mrs. William (Joy) Harden of Newton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William F. Castor; second husband, Charles Sargent; three brothers and two sisters.
The daughter of Charles and Lucy Miller Hall, she was born April 15, 1900 at Valeria.
She was married to Charles Wayne Sargent at Marshalltown.
She resided in Maxwell for 16 years before moving to Newton.
