Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate her life and the legacy she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kim's name to Colfax United Methodist Church. The daughter of Hollis and Betty (Cooper) Keenan, Kim was born on July 8, 1958. She grew up on the family farm near Rock Creek, an experience that forever shaped her life. In the late 1970's Kim was united in marriage to Jim Hall and was gifted 2 children David and Jennifer. Animals were a central focus in Kim's life. Simply put, she could not get enough of them. On the farm, she cared for chickens, cattle, horses and hogs. Her dad always told her animals eat first, a rule she kept till she passed. She loved riding, training and showing horses which was how she met her husband Marvin Lind and then began buying and breeding show horses. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer, they told her she would not be able to lift a saddle anymore, so she downsized to boer goats. She raised and showed boer goats with help from her very close friends, Susan and Vern Thorp plus James and Rose Shepard. James and her became very close while they were both battling terminal cancer (her second, his first.)

Besides all of that she raised English Mastiff dogs. Her first mastiff, Brutus, would take her for walks after she got breast cancer and would hold her up when she couldn't stand. Anyone who came to her house knew and loved her dog Mouse and then her two corgis Sha and Violet. In her past time, she also enjoyed watching westerns and mysteries along with listening to the bible on her phone.

During her adult life, Kim worked for Nationwide as an underwriter for commercial agricultural elevators and farm implement dealers. She enjoyed her team and worked hard to help clients. As she progressed through life, animals stayed constant. Kim was opinionated but usually stayed quiet unless it involved her animals, family or friends. You could always expect a phone call from her, morning, afternoon and night and if you didn't answer, no problem she'd call a few more times, maybe you just didn't hear the phone ring. In her later years she grew very close with God. She was deeply involved with the Colfax United Methodist Church and took great pride in leading the prayer chain and she never missed her nightly ritual prayers and was deeply grateful for Pastor Phil and all the members of the church that made her feel so welcomed. Above all, Kim loved the things she was passionate about, especially her grandkids. Her legacy of love and joy will be missed.

Kim is survived by her husband, Marvin Lind; her son, David (Kara) Hall; her daughter Jennifer Brumfield; and her grandchildren Ella Rose, Tristan, Reagan and Miles, her siblings; Kirk (Susan) Keenan, Kenney (Cathy) Keenan, Kathy (Jim) Patten, and Kristy (Nick) Figland; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Hollis and Betty Keenan; a brother, Keith Keenan; a nephew, Nathan Figland; as well as many animals/pets that she loved through out her life.
